Panleukopenia is a highly contagious virus that causes fever, vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration, and it can be fatal, especially in kittens. A recent modified-live panleukopenia vaccine can occasionally cause a weak positive result. Tell your veterinarian about recent vaccines when you interpret results.
